Hand Woven Goods.

All woven goods are hand produced on a variety of floor looms. All fibres are natural - organic cotton, wool, linen, hemp and sometimes silk.

Hand Dyed Yarns.

100% wool yarns are hand dyed with plants. Wildcrafted, from the garden, with plant extracts or a combination thereof. Colour ways are small batch and sometimes produced only once. Expect a seasonal flux of colour as colour availability changes with the moons - for example, madder root is harvested in autumn, woad is harvested in the spring before it flowers.

The selection of yarns come from Custom Woolen Mills ltd. near Carstairs, Alberta. A family owned and operated, working museum producing heritage quality, woollen spun yarns using western Canadian fibre on equipment from the late 1800's to early 1900's.
